Our Trophies
Below is the list of trophies, cups, spoons and medals available to our members
TROPHIES SENIOR
C.W. ALLEN CUP For the best specimen fish of the season caught in Society waters (see rule 15)
BARRY CHALLENGE CUP For the best specimen Tench of the season caught in the canal.
THE CARP TROPHY Presented by R. Macgregor and T. Marshall for the best specimen carp of the season caught in Society waters.
A. PILCHER SHIELD (SENIOR) For the best specimen Roach of the season caught in Society waters.
C.P.A.S. MEMORIAL SHIELD For the greatest number of different species caught in the Wagstaff Sheild competition. If two or more anglers tie, winner to be decided by weight.
CINQUE PORTS TROPHY For the angler with the highest number of points on home and away competitions.
CINQUE PORTS TROPHY RUNNER UP For the angler with the second highest number of points on home and away competitions.
REG CLAYTON MEMORIAL CUP For the heaviest bag of Roach weighed in at the Wagstaff Shield competition.
PRINCE OF WALES CUP Presented by Mr G. Woodward for the heaviest day?s catch during home competitions.

BOB NICHOLSON SHIELD Presented at the AGM for the all night match. To be a rover held on Society waters.
REG NEWMAN MEMORIAL CUP For the winning team of the Hythe Festival Match.
ANNIVERSARY CARP TROPHY The biggest Mirror and Common carp caught in Society waters.

RON WEBSTER CUP For the junior weighing in the best specimen fish of the season caught in Society waters (see rule 15)

BAKER CUP For the junior with the highest number of points on home and away competitions.
BRENCHLEY CUP For the junior with the second highest number of points on home and away competitions.
HERONSGATE CUP Presented by Mr R.S. Newman for the junior weighing in the heaviest catch during home competitions.
SANDGATE SHIELD For the junior with the heaviest weight at the Wagstaff shield competition.
JUNIOR CHALLENGE SHIELD For the junior with the highest number of points on home and away competitions.
GEORGE MUNN JUNIOR BREAM TROPHY Largest Bream caught on Society waters by a junior.
JUNIOR CHALLENGE SHIELD (Runner up) For the junior with the second highest number of points on home and away competitions.
A replica trophy will also be awarded to the junior with the highest weight/points in all Senior Trophy competitions (i.e. Willing Cup, E. Sasson Cup, P. Sasson Cup, Sharon Trophy, A.K.Yates Cup and Bill Dawtry Cup)
SPOONS
To be awarded for the best Bream, Carp, Crucian Carp, Chub, Dace, Eel, Perch, Pike, Roach, Rudd and Tench weighed in during the season from the Society waters (see rule 37)
A separate spoon will be awarded for the best specimen fish of the season caught at Society outings to be decided by the Committee.
A second set of spoons will be awarded to the Junior section each season. Should a Junior weigh in a fish which takes a spoon in the Senior section a second spoon will not be awarded.
SPECIMEN FISH MEDALS
A medal will be awarded for every specimen fish that is accepted by the Committee as a new Society record for that species (see rule 37)
Entries must be weighed in by a Committee Member or two members of the Society. The scales must be made available for checking by the Committee.
All cards for the registration of specimen fish must be sent to the Competition Secretary within seven days of capture, and must state the captor?s membership number.
