Thank you canal man much appreciated
Canalman wrote on 25th June 2019 at 9:02 am:
Hi Kevin. The bomb hole is the area East of Giggers Green Bridge starting about 20 yards east of the bridge and stretching for about 40-50 yards. If you plummet it will become obvious. To find the bridge just put "Giggers Green Road, Aldington" into Google Maps. And day tickets can be purchased when the bailiff comes round

Hi can anyone give me details of where Gingers green (bomb hole) is. I want to take my grandson pike fishing and have heard this is a good spot. Also am I correct that I can just fish and purchase a day ticket when the bailiff comes round.
Thanks for any help.

Hi there, how long roughly does it take for all the membership cards and stuff to come through once I have sent the forms out to you
Fished the canal for nearly 30 years and never been a member, sorry haha. Take my son down there a lot
Also very intrigued about the StanFord lake as I grew up in Sellindge and used to walk over to the lake a lot just for a walk around and see what was coming out so I would love to fish it
Many thanks

Hi Les, thanks for response. I live in Seabrook.
Les wrote on 16th May 2019 at 12:24 pm:
Hi Andy that would all depend on where you are based. If you are local or not
Andy wrote on 16th May 2019 at 9:54 am:
Hi all, just wondering where can I buy maggots from these days?
Rob wrote on 7th May 2019 at 4:49 pm:
Many thanks Canalman.
Canalman wrote on 7th May 2019 at 3:07 pm:
Hi Rob. You can fish on either bank between Seabrook and the West Hythe Bridge (although much of the North bank is inaccessible) but only the South bank from West Hythe Dam to Giggers Green Bridge. The South bank is easily accessible at Giggers
Rob wrote on 6th May 2019 at 10:20 pm:
As a non member could i ask if you fish the canal stretch on a day ticket it is the north or the south side. Also is the bank easily accesible if you park near Giggers bridge. Would definitely join the club if i lived a bit closer but only able to manage about 6 visits in the summer

From 16th June . The no boiling rule at a Beachborough has been abolished.
Mark wrote on 22nd April 2019 at 5:28 pm:
Am I right that the 'No Boilies' rule (was rule 34) at Beachborough doesn't apply next year?
Canalman wrote on 17th April 2019 at 3:03 pm:
Hi Stuart
I believe the work has finished but the canal has only come back up a few inches. We will need some rain if the level is to increase quickly. On a more positive note, the sections west of the Dam are at full Summer level now
Stuart wrote on 16th April 2019 at 7:16 pm:
Hi could someone tell me if the work on the canal has been finished yet and the water level topped back up yet.
