Probably not appropriate to show mobile numbers on here. Suggest you message him on Facebook (Paul Musson) and ask him for it

Does anyone have the phone number for the canal bailiff?
Thanks in advance.
Bill Usher , Chairman wrote on 9th February 2019 at 4:58 pm:
The 2 stretches at Aldergate and Giggers Green are low but the rest of the Hythe Canal is normal depth.
The Canal has been fishing well, generally.
Lee R wrote on 8th February 2019 at 8:51 pm:
Also is there any areas that are particularly good for deadbaiting for pike?
Lee R wrote on 8th February 2019 at 8:48 pm:
Was looking to come down sometime soon and target pike, just wanted to know if the canal was or has been drained? Don't want to make a wasted journey.
Chairman Billy Usher wrote on 5th February 2019 at 5:31 pm:
The lake at Stanford is open. But Members are reminded that you cannot drive your vehicles around the lake whilst the ground is so wet. Barriers have been put up to stop this.

I has spoken to several anglers. One chap had an Carp in December. I saw photos of a large bag of roach caught over Christmas. So fish are coming out, as you know it’s a new water to us, we need anglers to let us what they are catching then we can report it on here. There have been no other sightings of otters , just Mink. Billy
Andy wrote on 6th January 2019 at 12:08 pm:
Is there any reports from Stanford lake yet?ive walked it several times but seen no evidence of otter or much fish activity

Question : Why isn't this site being kept up to date
Graham wrote on 28th December 2018 at 9:25 pm:
Hi, was over at Stanford lake and it was good to see a few carp splashing around on the surface, first time over there and was very impressed with all the hard work to get it prepared and ready

Could the Committee consider placing net dipping facilities at Beachborough and Stanford? I'm sure mist members fish a variety of waters, and there's nothing we can do about the Canal, but some basic biosecurity around the two members only lakes would stop the spread of disease, parasites or invasive species like zebra snails.

All we need is a bin (old plastic dustbin or cut off plastic drum) with a dettol solution in it, changed a couple of times a year and a notice to dip nets before fishing.

Is Stanford a day ticket or member only?
Darren wrote on 18th November 2018 at 9:44 am:
Going up to Stanford lake today with my deeper pro fish finder to have a cast about to try and find out if there is a good stock of fish or if the rumours are true about the otter
Jb wrote on 16th November 2018 at 8:34 pm:
What are nights like on beachborough and what are people using on the hook?
John wrote on 16th November 2018 at 4:52 pm:
I had 2 days on the new lake 2 roach on the first day and a blank on day two I fished the float /quiver tip/on the surface and the ledger I found little signs of fish unlike our other waters
